I'm a first-time mom of a now 5-year old son. He was born 14 weeks early and weighed only 18 ounces at birth. Every day is a blessing so I thought I should document some of my adventures. (Formerly known as Adventures in Toddlerhood; but now he has started pre-K!)

Yeah, Bethany likes the tags on stuff. I could give her anything with a tag and she'd be happy. *SIGH*
The same reason why my two year old enjoys empty paper towel tubes over all the rest of his toys! (and I have yet to figure out the why.)
ooohhh....empty paper towel tubes and particularly wrapping paper tubes make excellent "swords" for a fun swordfight. They also make a nice binoculars.
A pair of nail clippers. Haven't tried that one. I bet she'll love it.
Just make sure the clippers are closed. He hasn't figured out how to open them yet. He tries to cut my nails, holding onto my finger just like I do his...When I jump back and say "ouch" he laughs hysterically.
